Jakarta Congregants are in Top Condition Ahead of Hajj Pilgrimage

City Secretary's People's Welfare Assistant, Widyastuti, checked the readiness of all officers and Hajj pilgrims from Jakarta. It is ensured that all equipment and supporting facilities for the congregation operate well before the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage.

Hajj pilgrims must prepare well physically and mentally

Besides physical health, mental health is also one of the things that helps the Hajj pilgrimage run smoothly.

"Today, we started visiting the groups. I also had an audience and silaturahmi (friendship) with all JKG 01 officers and Karu Karom. Other groups will be scheduled, as the Hajj pilgrims will soon undergo the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna)," she expressed, in her written statement, Wednesday (6/5).

She also visited every Jakarta flight attendant, met the congregation, and made sure they were in top condition, especially the elderly.

"To face the Armuzna phase, Hajj pilgrims must prepare well physically and mentally, thus all the mandatory pillars of the Hajj can be conducted smoothly," she uttered.

She also took the time to look at patient referral activities to hospitals. She ensured that every patient was handled well by the hospital. Besides maintaining health, Hajj pilgrims were also urged not to overexert themselves before the summit of Haji Armuzna.

"The flight crew officers must be solid and work together so that the implementation of Armuzna runs well. The Jakarta Provincial Government also provides an operational car to transport congregation patients who need it," she closed.
